MOONEY UPDATE: Mooney is stable after a second surgery to clean away dead tissue around his neck wound. The staff at the blue pearl vet clinic have also drained old infected wounds and removed dead maggots from his ears. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts. Also many are asking how to adopt. To adopt Mooney you can contact the arrow fund for an application. BUT Mooney is not the only dog who needs a home. By adopting locally you can save an animal like Mooney and also clear a space so we can take in more like Mooney. We are very lucky that we had the funds, resources and space to take Mooney in and get him the best care. Many other places would have had to make the hard decision to put him down in order to save money to help easier cases. Please remember that being a hero for dogs like Mooney can be a simple as being a local adopter, volunteer, transporter, donator or social media advocate. Please find a way to help Mooney and all of the fur babies in your local shelter!
