MORE BLACK TEACHERS ARE GOOD FOR ALL STUDENT. Ultimately, the goal of education is, or should be to cultivate young minds in problem solving, maneuvering through and approaching lifes issues successfully in order to achieve, wisdom, knowledge and overstanding. In such a complex world, of culturally diverse issues, people and problems, absolutely no child should be robbed, and subjected a limited cultural approach, in addressing the complex issues of life imposed on him or her... stunning their mental growth and development. They should be equipped with and afforded every unique and diverse approach educational systems has to offer. This means the retaining and recruitment of more quality and conscious black teachers and professors, nation wide. Particularly male black teachers standing in front of black male student. It is my sincere and profound belief the self imposed violence which is present in our streets, Is directly linked to the absence of black male teacher in our schools, and in our homes. Ideally, we should be consciously teaching our own, starting at home. With the extensive amount of our tax dollars and funds allocated towards public educaton, in the best interest of the minds of our youth, we must hold them all accountable.
