MORNING MIRACLE MESSAGE:03-07-2014! Prepared by Pastor Charles Chanda: Pretoria, South Africa DIFFICULT INSTRUCTIONS THAT BRING BLESSINGS SERIES 2 2 Kings 4:1-7 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. 2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. 4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. 5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. 6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. PROBLEM THAT CONFRONTED THE WIDOW! “…..and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.” The husband had left a debt behind and the creditors came to fetch the money anyway.Its unfortunate that the husband who was one of the sons of the prophets could not make use the prophets to find a solution to his financial woes. One can only speculate that he was among these lazy people we find in churches who according to them they only pray and do nothing. My friend prayer alone will not feed you. God is not a magician but a miracle worker who sometimes gives us instructions that are humanly speaking insane and out of this world. Blessed are those who obey the least of such instructions as they will get the rewards that God gives in Jesus Name. Debts are a reality in the present world and if we do not manifest a living faith, we will continue surviving on credit cards till we die. God forbid that a child of God live a life of debts. We are to live by faith and that faith is coming to you this day in Jesus Name. THE PLEA OF THE WIDOW TO ELISHA THE MAN OF GOD! 2 Kings 4:1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. Thank God the woman knew were to run to. She did not have an attitude to prophets because her husband who feared God died without receiving any help. This is the problem that many of us have today. Because of past disappointments or unanswered prayers, we decide not to have anything to do with God and his prophets. May be you reading are among those who were told that if you buy an air ticket and go to a certain country to see the so called man of God, your problem will be solved. You spent money, travelled and came back worse as you were exposed to even more terrible conditions. To make matters worse for you, the money you used for the ticket was borrowed and the little change you had from that same borrowed money, you offered it to the man of God and the problem is worse. If you are not careful, you will decided never to have anything to do with God. I pray you emulate this woman who still had faith in God and his servants. Do you have a man of God you can cry to when things go the way you never expected? PROPHETIC INSTRUCTIONS AND SOLUTIONS! 2 Kings 4:2-3 2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. Do you realise that prophets of God or men of God have something more that gold and silver? Many of us are in the habit of asking for silver and God which is not wrong in itself but will not solve your problem. If you came to me to ask for money, I will surely help you based on what I have and not your need. This leaves people disappointed and those who are fake christians if you do not give them money, they even stop reading messages that can help them. If you ask for prayers, I will pray for you and God will meet you at the point of your need. I am not saying that we as men of God should always give prayer but when we have lets help people. I read things on the face book posted by people who claim to be prophets that leave me confused. They will tell you that the first 100 people to say amen will get the blessing. Wait a minute prophet! Are you sure of what you are saying or you just want more people on your page? Let us stop deceiving people. You want people who are still in fornication to type amen to get a car and continue in their fornication? God does not work like that. God is warning you to stop misleading people. Thank God for prophets like Elisha who were concerned with the welfare of people they were made to minister to. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. 1. “Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.” The husband of the widow borrowed money which he failed to pay back but Elisha told the woman to borrow empty vessels which are actually easy to return. God will never ask you to borrow what you will fail to pay back. Lets trust God even in times of great scarcity. 2. “And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons” She was to shut the door so that the was no disturbance. If you want a miracle, keep people out as they may not understand what you are doing. Can you imagine if this woman was visited at such a crucial hour and the visitor saw her pilling empty vessels, there will be suspicion. Do not share evrything God has said before time. The children were to be part of the solution. May God give us children who are not part of our problems but solutions in Jesus Name. 3. GOD’S INVISIBLE HAND SUPPLIED OIL THROUGH THE LITTLE OIL! 2 Kings 4:6-7 6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. God will do something in your life this month in Jesus Name. Oil from heaven is on the way. Prepare empty vessels. Our God is a miracle working God. Do not be afraid to do what God has told you. I praise God for those of you who are reading these messages as there will be a performance of all that the Lord is revealing in Jesus Name. I am getting my own miracle in Jesus Name. A business was born with so little capital. The huge financial problem was sorted out. Rise up from that place my friend. God will not drop money from heaven for you. God is not managing a lottery but wants you to be part of the solution to your own problem. You miracle is on the way LET US PRAY: Gracious Father we thank you for you are a miracle working God. You will never share your glory with any man. I pray for every brother and sister who has read this message in full and has been face with a challenge that right now, you stretch forth you miracle working hand in their lives in Jesus Name. Every financial difficulty and burden, life it dear Lord in Jesus Name. I believe that you have answered. In Jesus Name I pray!
