MORNING MOTIVATION: BUILD A WINNING PASSION FROM YOUR PLACE OF PAIN! (Genesis 13:14-16, 1 Chronicles 4:9-10) Friend, never listen to your pains, let the pains listen to you. If you listen to your pain, it will deny you your gains. Never listen to disappointment, let it listen to you. You have a better mouth. If you listen to disappointment, it will preach to you and lead you to be disappointed. You become what you listen to and believe (Jn 1:12). But when you speak, you can lead pain, sorrow, disappointment, shame, heaviness, loss etc to Jesus Christ and they will be converted to gain, joy, appointment, honour, praise and triumph (Isaiah 61:1-3). You can also remove them with your mouth (Mk 11:23) Above all: build a winning passion from your place of pain. Ordinary people camp in their place of pain, loss, disappointment, frustration, mediocrity etc and want everyone to partake in their misfortune but extraordinary people build a winning passion from their place of pain. That was Gods lecture to Abraham after being disappointed by Lot (Gen13:14-16). The Zambia National Team built a winning passion from their place of intense emotional pain in Gabon and came back with a historic Africa Cup triumph. Jabez built a winning passion from his place of pain and he was blessed indeed (1 Chr 4:9-10). From his place of pain, Sam Walton conceived the idea that gave birth to Walmart Stores. From his place of intense pain, Jesus released forgiveness, healing, peace, joy and everlasting freedom to all of us. The passion of Christ is built from his place of pain. I arrived on this planet in a week of sorrow and I have fought winning battles in school, career, and life. It is from this place that God has given me a passion and grace to see man lifted, free, joyful, triumphant, accelerated and honoured in every way. I hate injustice, mediocrity, intimidation, oppression, selfishness, slaverly and people who look down on others. This is the fuel for morning motivation and all that will be born out of me. Similarly, do not camp in your place of pain, frustration, disappointment, fear, insecurity, loss, mediocrity, stagnation, sickness, unemployment and become their agent. No! Decamp and build a winning passion from there. The stars of true generals are built from their scars. The seven stars of Christ are built from his place of pain. Every great general has reversed at least one major set back or another in life, career, ministry etc. I saw it from the stories of Bishop Oyedepo, Papa Adeboye, Les Brown, Brian Tracy, Bill Winstone, Kenneth Copeland, Jerry Savelle, Jesse Duplantis, Myles Munroe, Nelson Mandela, Kenneth Kaunda, Farrah Gray, Arnold Schwazneger, Pst Nick Vujicic, Pst Sunday Adelaja, you and many pastors I have sat under. Therefore:..... “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” (Jn 5:8ESV). Build your burning passion from your place of pain. You are ordained to be a seven star General, a blessing, a celebrity and not an object of pity. Shift! Rise to a new dimension. This is my longest motivation and my blessing to you this day. It will take you a long way in life giving you tremendous joy. Wipe your tears. Give your vision the fuel and push by building your winning passion now from whatever is causing you pain (Gen 13:13-16). You are a star. I am privileged to be your friend. Shalom!
