MOVIE REVIEW: Annabelle is a scarefest that wastes no time in horrifying its audience. Despite the predictability of its plot—with the familiar demons and the idiotic incredulity of its protagonists—through its classic presentation, the movie was able to deliver more than just decent shocks and frights but also, of what I think is the scariest horror movie scene of the year – The Elevator. It seems that the movie is made with a screaming and squirming filipino audience in mind —easy to forget the story flaws but fastidious on the chills. Expect to leave from the theater satistied and with a sore throat. Annabelle is a spinoff of last year’s most successful horror movie, The Conjuring. I think it is better than its parent. 9/10 #EthysMovieReview #Annabelle
