MPS IN LUSAKA FOR SADCOPAC The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is in Zambia for the Southern African Development Community Organisation of Public Accounts Committees (SADCOPAC) accountability conference from May 10-22. Members include the accounts committee chairperson, Mr Nehemiah Modubule as well as MPs Moiseraele Goya and Kentse Rammidi. A press release from the National Assembly stated that the accountability conference formed part of the fourth year programme agreed upon with GIZ and World Bank Institute (WUB). It was mandated to empower PACs of member states to effectively carry out their function of oversight over public sector finances as well as promoting good governance. Members are expected back home on May 23
