MSNBC MELTDOWN: It’s official. I can’t stand Rachel Maddow anymore. (And I used to love her.) It’s her habit. The habit of saying the same thing …the same thing she was going to say…that thing… that thing she was going to say….that she said she was going to say… And I’m like SAY IT!! FOR GOD SAKES GET TO YOUR POINT!! SAY ITT!!! But tonight was the last straw. So she says – “Listen to this. This is the recording of an actual conversation between two captains of ships on a collision course” And then she plays the tape and the two barges collide. The ones in the oil lane in Texas and 175 thousand gallons of oil pours into the bay. Okay, Fine. I get it. Not good. It’s not one of those 5 million barrels of oil spills…but ugly. Okay. However, Rachel is not done. She tells us IF it had been one of those huge oil tankers. IF two of those HUGE oil tankers collided and they released all of THEIR oil - the millions and millions of gallons -then it would have shut down the oil lanes. It would have crippled the economy. It could have caused major disruption…. And I’m like – BUT THEY WEREN’T OIL TANKERS!!! What are you talking about!!?? They were barges! And my wife is like – “STOP YELLING!” And I’m saying, “I’m not YELLING “and she says, “You ARE yelling.” And I say, “ Now YOU’RE yelling.” And she reminds me that she had turned the show down so I couldn’t hear it. BUT I had to come over and turned it up on my own. And I should not listen to the show and stop YELLING!! I went back to the dinning room table to draw. After a minute my wife came over and gave me a mock snarl. And I gave her a kiss. (But Rachel Maddow is totally driving me nuts now.) I could imitate her delivery so well now it would drive you crazy too.
