MSSM will be participating in the coming Asian School Volleyball Championship to be hosted by Thailand in Kancanaburi from 17-27 August 2014. First time the boys and girls categories are organised together. For the boys the previous editions were held in Macau 1996, Hong Kong 2003, Singapore 2007 & Iran 2011. While the girls event were hosted by Singapore 1996, Macau 2004 & Vietnam 2011. The only notable achievement was attained by the boys in 2007 where they came in fourth after Thailand, China and South Korea. We narrowly lost to the Thais in the semi finals by 2-3 then. Kudos to the head coach Mr. Lee You Meng and assistant coach Mr. Zulyadi Zakaria. For MSSMs campaign this time the teams will be coached by Mr. Loh Ai Min and Mr. Ngu Yu Hu for the boys while the girls will be coached by Mr. Shaili Sukor and Ms. Luk Teng Kee. The HoD will be Hj. Razuki Bin A Rahim. MSSM extends its best wishes and hope both the teams will bring glory to the country.
