MTHS just wrapped up hosting our first state tourney and it was a success (and a learning experience). Just wanted to thank everyone who helped out. Most of the people might have been school employees, but they still gave their time. A special thanks a few different people: 1. Our girls softball team- Those young ladies worked tremendously hard and we are proud of them! 2. Brandon and Angela Gean- They cooked hamburgers and cheeseburgers for close to 36 hours for free! 3. Sanford Smith- Several years ago, someone left Marked Tree and they recently moved back. Since he has returned, he has been involved at a lot of school functions. He took money out of his pocket, started cooking at 4:00 a.m., and put in 12-16 hours days during the tourney. As a school, we are blessed to have such a great community. Once an Indian, Always an Indian! #indiancountry
