MTHULISI Maphosa and his representative, Ezra Tshisa Sibanda embarrassed the Highlanders disciplinary committee, led by Elkanah Dube, when Maphosa appeared before it yesterday. Chronicle Sport reports that, the hearing lasted no more than 30minutes when the player and Sibanda challenged the hearing by asking the committee, how it is possible to charge a player they have fired as the club had clearly stated in a daily paper. This meant the club had no right to charge Maphosa who is nolonger their employee. The two advised Highlanders to write a retraction in the daily press before the so called hearing can go ahead, this led to the committee adjourning the hearing to a later date. # The Chronicle
