MUGABE -A REGIME OF FAILURES The Ambitious elections promises made by Mugabe a year ago,including the creation of millions of jobs by 2018,have backfired. The Mugabe policy of forcing foreign companies to sell majority stakes to locals has been a big failure and has hammered investment and economic output. In his 25 minutes speech in parliament on the 28th of october 2014,Mugabe threatened action against Black Zimbabweans who he accused of derailing his black economic empowerment drive--Known as INDIGENISATION-- by acting as fronts for foreigners. It is depressing that some of our people have turned themselves into mere fronts for foreign investors.thus defeating the fundamental objective, Decisive action shall indeed be taken to address these negative development, Mugabe said. TO THE POINT-- The policy of Indigenisation was not investors friendly and many black Zimbabweans could not raise or did not have the access to capital to buy off majority stakes of 52% in those companies.Fronting is the only option they had.Mugabe should blame himself and not black Zimbabweans.
