MULLINS, SC CRITICAL NOW... NO FUNDS HUGE - CODE RED - PUT TO SLEEP - PER SHELTER STARTING SATURDAY... 9/13 PUT TO SLEEP MOST IN THIS ALBUM - PLEASE... CRITICAL NEED FOR ADOPTERS AND RESCUES NOW... THIS IS HEARTBREAKING PLEASE... Hey everyone - as you all know, we have been putting off and putting off a PTS and were truly hoping that donations would pick back up and sustain us over this hump, but unfortunately, that is not the case. We are going to have to scale back and must cut down on payroll and expenses and the only way to do that is to reduce the number of animals in our care. The staff and I are extremely heartbroken and frustrated. Below is the list and this PTS will be spread over several days, possibly starting as soon as Saturday. Please understand that this time, the PTS cannot be postponed - we may be able to pull some off of the list IF enough funds are raised AND any of the dogs included on this list can be pulled immediately. We will not be able to hold them at the shelter for heartworm treatment as a) we have other HW dogs already with commitments with $0 raised so cant try and take on any others, b) lack of space and c) lack of funds to hold them at the shelter (i.e. extra staff hours, etc.). As I stated yesterday, we need to bring in approximately $1,300 PER DAY to operate - yesterday, $589.78 was brought in via PayPal and today only $116.40 - so now we obviously have to make some very difficult decisions. Thank you so much to our supporters and those of you that network, donate, crosspost, etc. daily to save lives - I know this is not something that you enjoy reading - please understand that it is very hard on us, too.
