MULTI-COMPOUND GRIPS Having a grip where when you place your hands on it you feel as though you have complete control over the club and the club will stay put in your hands is a great feeling to have when getting over your ball. I have found some great grip success in the Multi-Compound grip, where it is a combination of a tour cord grip under the glove hand and a velvet style under the other hand. It gives me great control and confidence going into any shot, whether it’s a 300 yard drive or a 10 yard chip. Great feel all around. I tend to change my grips once a year depending on how much play the clubs get…I guess it’s about time I changed them. In any case, make sure you find a grip that works for you. The grip may be the most important part of the golf swing. -CHEERS BD
