MUSLIMS PLEASE READ THIS Abubakar Shekau is leader of the Boko Haram Islamic group that has been killing, bombing and kidnapping people in Nigeria. I know most Muslims will condemn Boko Haram’s activities and dissociate themselves for that group. But I ask you to listen to or read carefully what Shekau said because some of what he said Muslims have said to me on my timeline. Which of these statements do you disagree with? Is Shekau wrong? Does the Qur’an prove him wrong or could we find verses to support all Shekaus statements? All true Muslims must pledge their allegiance to Allah; not to a country or to democracy. Those Muslims who say that all religions are the same or equal are infidels. Islam is supreme. This war will continue forever. The only condition for ending it is this: that the infidel repents and accept Islam. The concept of Human Right is nonsensical. Allah permits slavery and Muslims may take slaves amongst the infidels. Any Muslim who believes in democracy is an infidel and deserves to be killed. The punishment for any Muslim who associates with Christians is slitting of the throat. If you conclude that, reading the Qur’an in good faith could allow someone to come to these conclusions, perhaps you will see why so many people regard Islam with suspicion. And perhaps you will also see why some people see Islam as just another iron-age religion. A huge difference between Islam and Christianity is that the vast majority of Christians do not believe the bloodthirsty Old Testament applies today, whilst the majority of Muslims believe all of the Qur’an still applies. Christianity has moved on but Islam is struggling to escape the iron-age.
