MY 2014 EMOTIONAL VENTING: As 2014 comes to a close I must admit - TopicsExpress

MY 2014 EMOTIONAL VENTING: As 2014 comes to a close I must admit that it was probably one of the greatest years of my life and one that I will always cherish. From the people I met and who have entered my life, to the people who have come and left so abruptly, to the big holiday reunion my family is currently having its all worth it in the end. Those who know me really well are aware that the saddest time of my life was two years when I moved back to Massachusetts from Pennsylvania. Just in time for the holidays I might add, I admit I was emotionally beaten to a bloody pulp but not broken and I never gave up. Even in the darkest hours I knew it was in me to rise above the ashes like a Phoenix. This year about a week before Christmas a friend and I went to donate Christmas presents to Toys for Tots at the local Town Hall. There I saw a very dear and old friend who looked me dead in the eyes and asked me if I was happy. I honestly said Yes I am with a genuine smile without having to fake it or lie to myself. It was then that I realized holy macro, I actually did it, Ive finally come to peace with myself and I am truly entirely happy for the first time in my life. Two years in the making after being totally miserable after experiencing an outright heart breaking disaster! Also those who know me are aware that while living in Central Pennsylvania I naturally became familiar with country music. Id say that THE DANCE by Garth Brooks is my favorite and it used to remind me of that person who changed my life forever. I admit I used to hate this person but I no longer do as I no longer recognize them as an enemy but in a way a best friend as they made me better and happy. Therefore I attached THE DANCE by Garth Brooks to this status, its not a break up song or a song about dancing, its about LIVING YOUR LIFE to the fullest. As the lyrics say I could have missed the pain, but I would have had to miss the dance. Therefore NEVER MISS A DANCE IN LIFE go for what you want, learn, love, fail and succeed from your experiences. Never regret any decision you make because at one moment that decision was everything you wanted. I wish everyone Peace and Prosperity in the New Year, looking forward to 2015! https://youtube/watch?v=bpwdwbO1uvM
