MY FACEBOOK ANSWER TO PRAYER. In August I placed a photo of a part for my car on FaceBook. This car part usually does not go bad. But my wonderful Honda Civic (1994) is so old even the never-goes-bad-parts are going bad. So the part could not be found in Nassau. I requested for help on FaceBook. Two of my friends responded. One in Jamaica (Christopher Green who could not find it) and one in Fort Lauderdale, Patricia Esangbedo. The one in Fort Lauderdale, Patricia Esangbedo, became my Angel. She was able to go to an old car lot and find the part. That was sweet of her. Then she offered to pay for the part $12.80 and ship it $40 to The Bahamas for me. That was a gift to me she sad. We do have good people on earth. Then all I had to pay $25 for custom duty and tax and the Post Office when it arrived. Although it took more than four weeks to reach, now it is installed and no longer is my car noisy when driving. Thanks Patricia Esangbedo, the granddaughter of Hartley Smith, who showed her care and love to me that day. Facebook friends are wonderful friends. My next request is – can someone send a new car (oops! That’s pushing it to far –smile)
