MY GRATITUDE Friends and family I am indeed indebted for the love and kindness I received from you yesterday as I added one more year to my life. For taking out time out of your busy schedules to send a wish and those highly encouraging words; posterity will not forgive me if I don’t show my gratitude by this letter and then by working harder to earn the depth of foresight and insight that your words expressed. This to me, is the best certificate I could ever asked for; to be loved and receive confidence from those that matters most to me. I really love you and appreciate you. Some of your words took my breathe and made me pray as they were just too wonderful to swallow without a feeling of God’s grace at work and I know that indeed, the some of the words you posted are pointers to the future calling for more grit and focus from me. You are all part of my success story. Your names are just too numerous to mention and this humbles me more. Finally, to all that I have been a blessing to in the last one year of my life, I pledge to be a greater blessing this time. To those that have been a blessing to my life in the past one year, I ask for more of you as I also work at becoming a blessing to you too. In times like this, words cannot express the depth of emotions pouring out from my heart but I know that the results of these words in the next one year will be your greatest compensation. There is no Onome without God and you. I honour you. This is the beginning of another 365 days of life and I will make it count with grace. Thanks once again.
