MY HEART FELT LETTER TO MY CHOLERIC HUSBAND (Part 1) In the coming days, it is going to be exciting as we creatively look at temperaments. The study of temperaments is important in having a successful relationship and marriage. Today, Mrs. Johnson has been heavily frustrated with her husband who is a supercharged Choleric, so she decides to write her husband in order to get his attention. Here is her heartfelt letter. Dear hubby, I choose to write to you to let you know how much I appreciate you; however I also wish to express my deepest feelings especially about us. I appreciate your strength, focus, passion and the fact that you are a goal getter. You are an achiever and someone with little or no fear to face challenges. You are very logical and you are not sentimental. You are very principled and you would rather stand on your principles than shift ground. You hardly get emotional and empathizing with others is not at home with you. I love the fact that you are very protective especially of your wife and kids. You have great dreams and desire to provide the best for your family. You work hard to become the best in all your endeavours. However, I desire you to be a little more sensitive especially to my feelings. Dear, you need to understand that I am a lady. There are times I just want you to empathize with me and not scold me for everything. Oh dear, it looks like you enjoy scolding and reprimanding me, and that hurts a lot! When I make a mistake, even of it is a stupid one, I will appreciate it if you will teach me and counsel me. There is a difference between correction and criticism. Please, don’t criticize me or use harsh words or raise your voice at me. My parents never raised their voice at me, so when you do it, it sends wrong signals and makes it difficult to even comprehend what you are trying to say. Yes, I know you get angry easily, but please take things easy; I need you to be more understanding. To be continued…
