MY INVITATION TO YOU ALL Facebook is a social web site. We enjoy sharing the family information and some time very personal information with friends. We also enjoy information shared by our friends. Often we share information on current events also. I would like to touch this part. Certain events occurring or going to occur in our society, country or the world is very important for us for the present and for coming years. I believe Social sites are the proper channels to discuss the ideas for better awareness. I take this opportunity to invite you all to participate in debate I would like to start via this site to understand the events and to enhance the awareness on the events taking place around us. I hope to get your cooperation. Thank you. WHOM TO VOTE? ELECTION 2014 All our debates are person oriented rather than ideology oriented. This has made our democracy slowly drifting towards personality cult. This leads to personality clash in stead of clash based on ideology. Our culture, our religion, our society and till now our family life is woven around personality. Our religion have number of Dev -Devis in place of elaborate philosophy, our culture has number of cast and creed in place of education and knowledge, our society is governed by money and muscle in place of good virtues and our families were till recent ruled by the whims of eldest member in place of aspirations of young ones. We waited till Loard Ram to get rid of Ravana. We waited till Loard Krishna to get rid of Kauravas. We waited till Mahatma Gandhi to get rid of Britishors. We waited till Jaiprakash naryan to get rid of Emergency. Of course in all four cases above it was the support of common people which brought the changes. What happened to the leadership after the changes? Loard Ram was busy purifying his family. Loard Krishna was busy purifying Yadavas. Mahatma Gandhi was busy purifying his soul. Jaiprakash narayan (Unfortunately) died purifying his kidenys damaged during his stay in jail. What happened to the ethos of those common people after the changes? They lost the source of the spark and came to grinding halt. Now they are waiting for the spark to return in form of a new leader. If this is so How we can expect our Political system to be different? Every new election either we want some new leader to emerge or we want the old leader to come up with new slogan. Is this attitude because of our slavery for a long? Is this attitude because of sheer pessimism of our people? Have the people lost the self confidence and hope? Is it due to lack of education? In context of these, what will be better for the people, the ideology or the leader? The irony is that the PM, CM and ministers have executive powers which are visible to common people but the ideology is not. The excessive display of power by executive wing has put the ideology wing in to dark shadow. How many remembers ideology of Mahatma Gandhi and other congress leaders of fifties and sixties vis a vis the powers of Nehru Gandhi family? How many remembers the ideology of Shyamaprasad Mukharjee vis a vis the power of Advanis and Modis? The party president ship has become similar to the position of the President of India in the constitution. Both of them look powerful on paper. The Congress at present due to unavoidable circumstances has strong party President and very weak Prime minister. This is only a circumstantial arrangement and in fact the Government is run by party President. Regional parties have strengthened the concept of Godfather-ism. However here again the Government is run by family only. How will the common people take the decision? Shall he decide by ideology which is rarely visible or decide by the leader who is highly branded? The paradox is that a candidate who is good in administration and honest can not bring votes and a candidate who is neither good at administration nor bonafide can bring lot of votes. This is the question I put to you. Please take some time and answer it. Your small effort combined with others may change the scenario in coming Election.
