What a horrible place, dont ever go there again. “Den of thieves” #2 = CROSS LANES, W.Va. -- Two men helped restrain a purse thief at the Kroger store in Cross Lanes Thursday, police said. A man took a womans purse from her shopping cart as she loaded groceries into her car, Kanawha County Sheriffs Department Cpl. Brian Humphreys said in a news release. The suspect, Richard Jason Palmer, 28, of Nitro, fled on foot from a Kroger employee. Two men driving by saw the incident and got out of their vehicle to help, according to the release. The men chased Palmer, who dropped the purse, to a nearby parking lot. They held him there until Cpl. Kenneth Gaddy arrived. Paramedics treated Palmer for minor injuries sustained in the arrest.
