MY OBSESSION. Its interesting to know that a lot of people shy away from the book of Revelation with any other stuff that relates to Judgment. They even consider people who enjoy it as strange and obsessed with something that isn’t too relevant. I can understand their stance; One of the books of the Bible where its stuffs are difficult to hear and more worse understand is the book of Revelation because it makes us uncomfortable, because its contents are “hard”. But the Bible admonishes us not to seal the words of this particular book, its time is so soon. We have to understand that God wants us to know what would happen in the End time even if it makes us uncomfortable, I think that’s the point of it that we become uncomfortable with it, rather than ignoring it, it motivates us to go out there to persuade people-That’s the point of the book of Revelation, that’s the aim of my obsession with this my favourite book of the Bible. Knowing that Jesus could come anytime, it should motivate us to go out and warn people about it. Let’s say, you got an inside information, you knew there was going to be a massive earthquake or that Boko Haram were going to struck a place or a church, and its going to take place in a year’s time. What would you do with that kind of information , because it makes you feel uncomfortable, would you just ignore it and place low priority on it. I think you would warn the people that you love- So much so that you would even warn Strangers that this is the way they prepare themselves. When I read Revelations, there is a side of me that doesn’t want it to be true. Don’t get me wrong, I believe its God’s word and that its very accurate, just that am saying humanly when I see God’s wrath in this book, I pray its not so, but it doesn’t matter how I feel. What matters is God. Christians are too idle & lazy, because they haven’t grasped the degree of the wrath of God. Let Him that has an eye hear what the Spirit is saying in our Midst. Oh Great One, We reference you and worship your majesty. You reign forever, Amen
