As I explained before, this process has not been easy, many hurdles have been put in my way. Voices like mine are missing on the Amnesty International board - I am a woman, Palestinian, Muslim and have grasp of both international and domestic issues in a way that not many have. I want to prove that although I wasnt put through the nomination process (which is way easier and I was rejected) that I have the community support to put my name on the slate ANY WAY.
