MY RESEARCH ON CHRISTIANITY I spent the whole of Yesternight inside the Four wall of TAAS Library, being a guest poet I had to weave some matured lines together that will enslave the attention of the uncomparable poet Adelana. Unfortunately, my muse fails to calm but wander from sacredism to secularism, from art and Humanity to theology. Na so I begin dey wonder, shey na true be say all christians dey do nonsense? As if my muse understand Nigerian pidgin, it instanateously wake up my sleeping pen and it begins to write: The practise of salat was the way of Abraham and his followers (Abraham, Genesis 17:3) of Musa and Haroun (Exodus 30; 17-21; 40: 30-32) of Joshua (Joshua 5:14) of Daniel of Ezra, the priest (Nehemiah 8:4-6) David (psalm 138:2) and Jesus christ (John 13:5-9, Mathew 26:39 and Mark 14: 35-35). I almost collapsed when I came across all these verses of the Bible (though altered now). A question keep asking itself then what makes the christians say NO to salaat? As if thats not enough, I almost faint when I came accross (levicticus 15: 25-28,Exodus 30:17-21, John 13:5-9) ablution in the bible. Eh!!! As if the pastors are blind Ezekiel 25:6-7 made it known that accursed are those who worship Allah by singing and clapping. Habakkuk 2:20 break the jaw of everything by affirming perfect silence in churches and places of worship. I wonder if some of these new christians have ever heard of Habakkuk. Eh! For where? To crown it all it was saint paul, not Jesus, coined the word Christianity and created the christians in Antioch, Abi you dey doubt me? See (acts 11:25-26). So who are christians? My answer is the followers of saint paul and nt Jesus. Dont be offended my christian friends, na my muse wey no want write poem. Allhamdullilahi ala nimatil islam.
