MY RIG MONDAY This week we are seeing a bit about my own 4x4. This Cruiser does me proud as it is still going after a gruelling 417,000kms. A few fatigue issues starting to show now but nothing that is too major. It is a 2000 model 100 series with no turbo, but plenty of goodies. Starting with a 12000pd winch, Hella Predator spotties. Under the bonnet is a Glind heat exchanger and water pump, ARB compressor and the C-Tek dual battery booster system. (Watch this space for a detailed breakdown of how I have my Hot water system set up.) In dash is a Codan 9323 HF, AM CB, and a Icom UHF radio. You can also see the Tyre Dog tyre pressure monitor. The spare wheel is home to my telescopic camp light as well as the self tune antennae for the HF. Underneath is my homemade dual tank that holds 100l water and 150l of fuel. I am currently running a 3 lift using OME that is about 4yrs old and still holding up to the punishment that I give it. I love this car. To see more of my car and all the other previous cars that have featured here on my rig monday, keep checking out our website at 4wd-country. The pages are nearly ready to go live and you will find all these cars there.
