MY VIEW OF THE SUNDAY REFLECTION: As much as the Universal call to repentance is eminent in our time,the contextualization of this clarion call is very much paticular. The spiritual repentance which is to make us ready for the the eschatological reality might require to a large extent material,social,cultural and economic detachment. The people of Nineveh accepted this call to repentance,Simon and Andrew,James and John - the sons of Zebedee- agreed to this call of repentance which necessitated the abandonement of their field of experti (fishing). The message of repentance must discomfort the comforted and comfort the discomforted. What we feel we are good at might not be what God has destined for us. Be quiet and listen to Gods Word,you might beging to have a penchant for a positive change... Happy sunday friends!!!
