MY WAVE OFFERING TO GOD In His presence Congregationally situated I think of His grace upon me I think of His grace upon my family I think of His grace upon my journey of life… I remember He said of mercy Not as anyone imagined Not even by the size of anyone Neither by the colour or race Nor by self righteousness He alone determines on mercy I look around me enveloped in mercy I count myself blessed with grace. I know there are gods Those man- made edifices Inanimate and motionless Yet worshipped by lesser men I know about other tin-gods Man playing God on others All wicked and directionless Impostors of the real God. I stand here before the real God The God that has all the might The God that is host of all hosts The God worshipped in the open The God that does not regret a thing The God that says and it comes to pass The God that has given me power to live. I am here in His presence I wave unto the most High God My wave offering explains what I feel I am in awe of His almightiness! Happy Sunday © Engr. Enyinda Nath Okey
