MYTHOS OF CREATION, CONT: As a collective civilization it is evident that we have gathered a certain amount of information since the time of Mesopotamia 6,000 years ago, until the Age of Enlightenment 150 years ago. From then until 1950 we doubled that amount of information. Then, from about 1950 to 1970, we doubled it again, and then again from 1970 to 1980. At present the constructs of Moore’s Law dictate that information will continue to double every 18 months. Computational power is now on par with the human brain. In a decade, our computers may be 500 times the known computational value of a human brain. As we catapult into the brave new world of sentient computers, a new mythos of creation will be sure to follow. In this examination of human evolution and all of the life sciences, we will need to start at the beginning when people first began to look inwards. In our world of duality there are always those select few who wish to share and extend their awareness, but others who are attracted to religious and spiritual themes for the power and control it wrests over people. Students of authentic love-based spiritual traditions have sought to offer an alternative to organized political and patriarchal adherents since time immemorial. The impressive history and teachings of the mystics, which include the world’s alchemists, philosophers, Gnostics and secret or mystery school initiates, have strived to interpret the world and pass on spiritual knowledge to their followers. Other esoteric traditions which continued for centuries, such as the Knights Templar, Cathars, Freemasons and the Illuminati, for better or for worse, have all had an agenda that benefits their own adherents. Only the truth will stand the test of time, as the creation of a unified world civilization gradually unfolds. Hidden agendas, power over people’s minds, and control issues will be exposed for what they are, and will then fade into the annals of history. The final fragment of the plan is destined to come into play soon, when both factions arrive at a peaceful resolution of their ancient struggle and work together to create a civilization that is the union of both paths. The culmination of human civilization will come into fruition, and all institutions and levels of society will encourage people to complete their spiritual evolution by achieving the goal of the ancient Greek mandate: “Know Thyself.”
