Maa Tujhe Salam ! Twenty two years ago on Oct 3, 1992, Beeji(my Mother) left for heavenly Abode ! She had an inspiring journey ! Studied up to 6th class in Jagraon,in Gurmukhi medium school but she used to pray daily and deeply immerse in Srimad BhagwadGeeta , Sukhmani Sahib and Japuji Sahib and she also studied Bahai books on Bab and Baha’u’llah ! She could only read the books those were written in Gurumukhi but she had memorized a lot from Ramayan. I salute her for practicing what she taught us .I have not seen anyone always so calm, balanced ,so simple, selfless, kind, just, accommodating and hospitable person like her. She always sustained relationships with everyone she came across and always trained us to greet & welcome everyone . We could not mention the word revenge! .She lived with let it go attitude because she had a complete Trust in God. She was very secular and positive in approach. She left five of us who are able to carry forward many of her principles. We are a great united family and rely a lot on each other. She had inherited some traditional healing s from her grandfather .Every morning there were children and women at our house who were treated by her without charging any fee . She was very skilled and I have seen her spinning on the wheel and weaving , knitting, stiching. I am so fortunate today not physically alone to remember her because I have her first granddaughter Abha with her two great grandsons to recall lot many stories of her greatness !
