Mackenzi bought me book called Start by Jon Acuff (LOVING the book). While my focus has been to try to get PAST merely starting (but never finishing) - with the Biblical encouragement coming from Ecclesiastes 7:8 - this video invigorates me. This guy did a number of things: 1. He started with something hes passionate about. 2. He started with what he had. He was realistic and didnt go overboard (literally, went under-wave) with anything he might have wanted to achieve or acquire. 3. He took a risk...a LOT of them! He said it, himself - what he does has very personal danger. But it was a calculated risk; not foolish. He knows the waters and isnt reckless. 4. He took even more personal risk and put his work out there for potential rejection, but that risk came out positively! Thats what Im going to do. Ive GOT to do it! Im tired of JUST dreaming...
