Macon sits in the cross road of Georgia where north, south, east and west meet. We have good weather conditions. We have an abundance of empty houses that are in better condition that houses that sell for six figures in the downtown Atlanta area. We have large office buildings and factory buildings sitting vacant. On paper, we are the most convenient location in Georgia to distribute goods to all of Georgia. We are almost equal in population between Black and White. In other words, we have a marketing advantage. If we can just work together and use our energies to compete with other counties and cities for attracting large businesses. Our image matters. We have got to forgive, have faith and open the way to receive Gods blessings. No one wants to live next door to the neighbor that fights all the time. We can appear to be and actually be that friendly neighbor with morals and respect that everyone wants to be near. The Gold Mine that God has for us is waiting on us.
