These key signature products,the Brazuca, the Caxirola, and the lovely mascot Fuleco are all Made in China. The World Cup fever has become a boon to many companies in China. According to Xinhua, in Yiwu, located in south-eastern Chinas Zhejiang Province, overseas orders have been flooding in to manufacturers there since March. In the first five months this year, the citys total exports to Brazil reached 160 million U.S. dollars, up more than 30 percent year-on-year. Exports of sports commodities to Brazil were 2.78 million dollars, up 42 percent. Other Chinese products are also shining at the World Cup. Chinas major solar energy company Yingli Green Energy has provided 27 sets of photovoltaic systems for lighting devices in all the hosting cities. And to bring fans in Rio de Janeiro a little fresh air, Chinese companies have been called on to upgrade subway facilities, including air conditioning.
