Made it through the second night at home! Lorie has finally figured out what I want from a nurse puppy, and quietly snuggles down next to me. Ellie still wants to curl up on my chest and lick my face. Love the affection for a minute or two, but I dont need the extra obstacles to breathing! Just finished breakfast for the animals, and my morning round of pills. This includes giving myself a heparin shot for the next 8 days. Fortunately, my gut is an easy target. The weather is going downhill rapidly. It got cold enough last night that I had to turn up the heat, and the wind may just blow the last of Daylight Savings Time out of town. Getting sleepy again!
