Made it to Canada for the Back to the Body Retreat with Pamela - TopicsExpress

Made it to Canada for the Back to the Body Retreat with Pamela Madsen through some of the most resistance Ive experienced in a long time. When I got the email that my flight from SFO to Victoria was canceled last night, I wanted to bail. Badly. I began to fantasize about a weekend in San Fran at the land owned by my chosen family. I didnt though. I spent two hours on the line with United to get re-booked on a new flight. Everything was sold out. Except one flight via Vancouver, but no one was answering at Air Canada, which was needed to confirm. I made little deals along the way. If I get rebooked before 1a, Ill go. Otherwise, Ill try again in morning, and if all flights are gone, theyll be gone. I released all attachment to either outcome. Then, If I get rebooked by 9a tomorrow, Ill go. If not, Ill stay home or go to San Francisco to hang with my loves there instead. As the clocked turned 9a, United came trough with the seat through Vancouver. And I pouted the whole way here. (see picture - thats my pouty face) Now that I am here at the hotel and after a few sweet connections with friends during my travel (boy, do I love that we can text, talk and FB message while on the go), I am glad to be here. Relaxed and ready for bed. Even a little excited about whats to come. I hear theres a whole lotta pampering about to happen. Im curious about the part of me that was so resistant and whether its the same part that has a hard time receiving. Will have a bed time conversation with these parts before falling asleep to see what I can find out. I would love to know: do you identify multiple parts within you, each of whom have their own desires, hopes, dreams, fears and quirks? If so, share some of what you notice with that for yourself here and how you sort out the parts from the whole. I just started reading Gary Zukavs Seat of the Soul - thanks SuperCraig - and had an intense session with Sera Beak and post-session conversation that has the question very alive for me. Would love to hear experiences.
