Made my first external SSD today (because I could not buy ready-made one because there was none): - I bought 512 GB SSD at 220 euros from verkkokauppa - Then a USB-powered external hard drive case for 24 euros from the same place. => Now I have a 512 GB external USB 3.0 SSD. Seems to work fine and nice that this drive does not spin nor park (nor stop spinning). Installing Native Instruments Komplete 10 on it now. The gigabyte optimum would have been actually 1TB SSD but for this time saved some euros by doing a 512 GB model as this size is completely fine as the external drive for the Komplete (there seems to be even 200GB free after the installation).
