Made my first trip out to Little Creatures since before the Lion Nathan acquisition. I was a vocal opponent of the acquisition because I loved the place dearly and feared they were going to ruin it. The LC Pilsner is what opened my eyes to craft beer when I was still an underage drinker who didnt know anything (not at the venue obviously). I thought that even if they kept the beer the same all the awesome Freo-esque characters that work there wouldnt be continued to be employed. I was wrong. Everything still seems pretty awesome there. I only tried the IPA (twice) and The Rule of Three so I cant comment on the beer, because they werent on tap the last time I was there. Ive had the IPA on tap before at a different venue and in a bottle before. The IPA on tap at LC seemed better than at the other venue and far better than in the bottle. The Rule of Three was an interesting beer. Enjoyable, but not for me. Food was awesome. So happy to see that it wasnt ruined by being sold out. I will definitely return if people want to go, but I think theres somewhere pretty close by that usually has beers on tap that will still win me over every time.
