Made through another holiday @ Macys, but barely. Worked 11.15 on Weds. Slept for a while when I got home, made Thanksgiving dinner and ate, went to bed then back to Macys 27:30 p. This was the WORST year in terms of shopping floor disaster. I worked another 10 1/2 hrs bc when it was time for me to quit, I couldnt leave the associates on the new shift with all the MESS that had to be cleaned up. If we had 5 complete pair of boots on the table when things calmed down (btwn 5-15a). I was running like a chicken with its head cut off. Gods auto pilot got me home safe and I finally went to bed at 6:20 this morning. Just got up about 3:20 pm. In the 3 yrs Ive done Black Friday at Macys here in TX, this was the worst! Ppl dont care about the mess the create just to get a bargain! What PIGS! But I left the AM associates with work from my original shift last evening. but at least I didnt cop out and leave the very minute my shift was over. What is wrong with these young ppl? Just want to stand around and talk, or on their phones!! I dont get it - I didnt teach my daughter to be lazy and although there are things shed rather NOT do when it comes to helping out, shell STILL DO THEM. These young ppl are getting PAID and wont do things!! Now I just have to rest some more so I can go back in on Saturday @ 4 AM - 10A. After that - drive to a Dr. appt with infected sinuses (finally).
