Madison Furry Bowlers, lets have a chat real quick! I have a few things to talk about. -- UNPAID GAMES Two people did not pay for their games. I guarantee the alley any unpaid games, so this directly comes out of my pocket. I am not a public shamer, but I have no contact information for Dean. If anyone has his contact information (or youre on here Dean), please PM me so I can get a hold of him. -- SILLY STRING It was reported to me by an upset bowling alley manager, that during the February meet, a huge mess of silly string was left over in the fursuit room. It goes without saying, that this is unacceptable behavior. The alley provides us that room for FREE. That is no small thing for a business to do. That night, they even bought us pitchers of beer as an apology for a reservation mistake. All to be repaid with a huge mess to clean up. Whoever is responsible for the mess, I would appreciate an apology. I am upset and embarrassed. Youve single-handedly injured a mutual level of respect and trust I have worked hard to establish with Schwoeglers. Last night, twice, I saw ice spilled all over the room with no one even close to picking it up. Ice from pitchers of water the alley provided us without me asking. Thats how much they enjoy our presence and *understand* us. The consequence if this happens again, is that they will charge me hundreds of dollars for the room, and this meet ends. -- FURSUIT ROOM On the topic of the fursuit room, I am going to start some rules. There has been far too much hanging out in that room. Here are the people that should be in the room: 1.) Fursuiters 2.) People helping fursuiters Please avoid congregating in there. When I was dressing, I had hardly any room. I also feel weird stripping to my underwear in front of people that are not involved in suiting. The room is also a place for fursuiters to cool down and take a break from being in character. I will work on getting some fans in there next time. You will notice the room was much smaller. That was punishment for the silly string. If there are a significant number of furs that dont want to bowl and just want to hang out, we can RENT a room, but we will all have to pitch in. I think it would be a good place to play games, etc. -- INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL This is a reminder to not wear inappropriate material at the alley. There are children present. I saw a FREE HUGS badge with the pedo-bear on it, with a group of small children 20 feet away. That is NOT appropriate, and is NOT helping our image. (I cant remember who wore this, otherwise Id be speaking to you privately.) CONCLUSION: You are all a great group. Ive been really impressed with everyone. Im just squashing some issues before they become a problem. I am intentionally avoiding things like badges, volunteers, etc, because I am not interested in running a mini-con, and I have a base level of respect and trust with you.
