Hace 6 horas · I know its early in the morning, but I did not want to let this discussion slide. Remember guys and girls, TOLERANCE, in ANY community is essential to allow it to FLOURISH. This person clearly does not grasp this concept. People all have different opinions about what vision they have for the Cosplay community. Stating your opinion without insulting or putting blame onto parties is IMPORTANT because it shows that you TOLERATE something you are displeased with but also shows that you have gracious RESPECT towards the people you have an issue with. Its IRRELEVANT what other peoples intentions are when it comes to Cosplay. They can do what they please and you can voice your opinion without insulting and comparing people. This is outright disgusting. This persons lack of tolerance is actually more destructive than any boob showing costume will ever be to our community. This person took the time to compare two different people side by side with the implied intention of shaming the subject on the right side of the picture. Name calling and labeling of someone with a lowly term should not be tolerated. A good thing to think about is: Whats wrong with people liking things for a reason different than yours? Whats wrong with liking bikini costumes and skimpy costumes? Is there a social norm for this and why should there be? Its a persons individual prerogative to give attention and money to someone else even if you dont agree with the reason. This person asks for people to do what he/she wants, but that is very unreasonable. Another food for thought: Right attention and wrong attention is all relative for different people. No one is in a position to dictate what is right attention and wrong attention. This person states their opinion in which they think our community is deteriorating because they think the attention received is wrong, when in fact, its just becoming more mature like every other community in the world. PLEASE DO NOT BE LIKE PERSON BY VOICING YOUR OPINION IN A DISRESPECTFUL WAY.
