Maersk Line Equipment Maintenance and Repair (EMR) Sr. Assistant Ref.: ML-049370 The Equipment Maintenance and Repair (EMR) Sr. Assistant is responsible for overall EMR activities, delivering the lowest container repair cost in Brazil by monitoring supplier performances, aligning global Maersk Line policies and providing initiatives for cost reduction. Key Responsibilities • Undertake cost ownership for equipment maintenance and repair to ensure lowest possible cost to the line. • Continuously review and reduce EMR costs through efficiency improvement initiatives. • Closely monitor the performances of all repair shops according to the Service Level Agreements (SLA). • Ensure error-free and stable performance of EMR end-to-end processes supporting delivery of containers to customers. • Be EMR focal point, ensuring the EMR policies and procedures from Centre will be carried out promptly and effectively. • Manage relationships with all stakeholders such as repair shops, depots, Sales & CS and customers. • Provide adequate communication to keep various stakeholders informed of important development within the position’s area of responsibility. • Improve work force efficiency in EMR team through partnering with the Global Service Center. • Involve self in understanding work processes of other sections and departments and use knowledge to ensure efficient completion of daily tasks and identify further improvements within team. • Comply with the Company’s policies and guidelines. • Execute all audits scheduled. • Ensure minimal number of out of service units sitting on depots. Who we are looking for Education and Experiences • Bachelor degree in related fields • Minimum 3 years’ experience in container business or similar industries • 3 years of containers box and reefer unit repair and maintenance experience. Required Competencies • Good interpersonal and communication skills in English. • Fast learner with proven tracks • Proven ability to deliver even under pressure • Cost conscious and result oriented • Have self-discipline and strong drive to achieve given targets • Availability to travel.
