Magic. The seventh game of the 1965 World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Minnesota Twins. All sorts legends of the sport in this game: Sandy Koufax, Harmon Killiebrew, Tony Oliva, Maury Wills and others. It went right down to the wire. The announcer mentioned that Koufax pitched 332 innings in the 1965 regular season. Today, if a major league hurler pitches more than 200 innings a season, it is considered an accomplishment. One glaring difference between baseball today and 1965 is the length of games. They went much quicker in those days. The pitcher straddled the rubber, took his sign, and pitched. I still consider Koufax to be the best pitcher in baseball history. For a five-year period, he was almost unhittable. This video is of the entire game and is a treat to any baseball fan. It captivated me. https://youtube/watch?v=HeKbktNm0Mk
