Mahendra Singh Dhoni (also known by his nickname: - Mahi, Dhoni, M.S., M.S.D., M.S. Dhoni) is a professional cricketer in India. He is the one of the best batsmen in the cricket history. MS was born on July 07, 1981 in Ranchi, Bihar (now Jharkhand), India. He is the current captain of the cricket team of Chennai Super Kings and also captain of the national cricket team of India. He was awarded for his outstanding batting as the man of the match in the final. Dhoni after resigning from Air India also handle post of Vice-President of ICL (India Cements Ltd.). The owner name of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings is ICL and its captain name has been Dhoni since the first edition of IPL. Dhoni has also been the many award recipients including the award of the ICC ODI Player of the Year (the first Indian player to achieve this feat) in 2008 and 2009, the award of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and the Padma Shri, fourth highest civilian honour of India in 2009.
