To decide this on this last Thursday meeting happened with all ISU heads to go further on layoff or not for 2 hours and bad news is they are going further on layoffs unconditional. They want only 15% of Ast & Asocs overall. Going forward ITAs have to do multiple roles. Con % overall 22% to fit their new Microsoft type model since cyrus mystry is having 32% stake in the TATA group from his father time onwards. He want to improve the stake since TCS only one big golden duck in the crown simple logic. Thisis not Ratan or Ramdorai TCS any more. Bad news again may and jun 2015 one more layoff drive coming shortly and figures basis appraisal cycle and they will not observe any contract employees neither from TCS side or from new merge CMC side beware and prepared. They want this group to retain balanced human resources with figure around 2.5lakh by 2016 may with more ASE and ITA more number to improve profits, so that they can retain Tata tele serviceand Europe steel/corus steel on track from bad debts.
