Maintenance Manager - Olifantsfontein Line of Reporting: General Manager Key Performance Areas: (Not Totally Inclusive) * Manage the maintenance team and keep track of the annual maintenance schedule * Oversee repairs of building facilities and equipment * Supervise suppliers and ensure safety compliance * Plan the preventative maintenance of the mechanical equipment * Avoid downtime due to equipment breakdown * Oversee calibration of repair tools and pneumatic systems and conformance to required standards at all times. * Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on mechanical/electrical and lifting equipment. * Maintain and update records of scheduled maintenance procedures i.e cranes, lifting tackles, slings etc * Ensure the team is available to emergency maintenance requests as they arise * Ensure the asset register is updated continuously * Order parts as needed and ensure compliance with the company procurement policy * Liaise with suppliers where problems occur, prepare countermeasures * Conduct monthly 3S Audits (Housekeeping) CORE BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES: Must have good management and planning skills Must be team player and solution driven Must be able complete tasks on short notice and work well under pressure SKILLS REQUIRED: Grade 12/Matriculation, and Trade Certificate or equivalent 3-5 years in a similar role preferably from manufacturing environment Email CV: anneleb2@gmail
