ABS-CBNnews Posted at 01/26/2014 12:26 AM | Updated as of 01/26/2014 12:26 AM In a highlight of the trailer for The Legal Wife, which premieres on primetime on January 27, Angel Locsin is seen landing a forceful slap on Maja Salvadors face in a confrontation between their characters. Salvador, in a recent press conference for the ABS-CBN series, recalled filming the scene, saying it only took one take for her and Locsin to perfect it. Admittedly, Salvador added she felt the impact of Locsins slap. Directed by Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao, The Legal Wife centers on Monica (Locsin), whose husband, Adrian (Jericho Rosales), starts an affair with Nicole (Salvador). Needing in love, Nicole willingly seduces Adrian despite knowing he is married. But Salvador was quick to clarify that being the mistress is only one facet of her character. Hindi lang naman yung character ko naaano sa mang-aagaw, e. Kung mapapanood niyo yung character ni Nicole, maiintindihan niyo siya, e. Mahahalin niyo si Nicole. The Legal Wife, which marks Locsins return to primetime drama after three years, also stars JC de Vera, Mark Gil, Rio Locsin, and Christopher de Leon.
