Major Crime Summary Report January 4, 2015 – 12:00 a.m. to January 4, 2015 – 11:59 p.m. NOTE: The following summaries are allegations of incidents that have been reported and are under investigation. Precinct: 1st Precinct Location: 200 block of W. Congress Date/Time: 01/04/15 2:00 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 23 and 24 year old victims were exiting the location, when 10-12 shots were fired into a crowd that was walking through the parking lot. The 23 year old victim was struck in her arm and side and was non-fatally wounded. The 24 year old victim was struck in the head and was also non-fatally wounded. Precinct: 10th Precinct Location: Hogarth / Wildemere Date/Time: 01/04/15 2:45 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 26 year old victim was assaulted by 8-10 unknown suspects at the location. The victim was unable to give further circumstances. He was non-fatally wounded. Precinct: 11th Precinct Location: 13700 block of St. Louis Date/Time: 01/04/15 6:00 p.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 51 year old male victim arrived home, when 3 armed suspects approached him and attempted to rob him at gunpoint. The victim, a valid CPL holder, pulled out his firearm and shot one of the suspects. The suspect was fatally wounded by the victim. The other 2 suspects escaped in a brown van. WANTED: Suspect #1 – #2 - Black males, 30’s, wearing dark clothing – ARMED Anyone with information on this crime is encouraged to call Criminal Investigations at telephone number: 313-596-2260. Precinct: 9th Precinct Location: 9000 block of Hayes Date/Time: 01/04/15 10:30 p.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 23 and 24 year old victims were parked in front of the location, when an armed suspect walked up and announced a hold-up. Victim #1 (24 year old male) exited the vehicle and began fighting with the suspect. The suspect fired one shot into the vehicle, victim #2 (a 23 year old female) exited the vehicle. The suspect fled in the victim’s dark gray 2011 Dodge Durango Michigan license plate # DFM 2675. The victims were not injured.
