Well it is getting closer to show time and this is our last major - TopicsExpress

Well it is getting closer to show time and this is our last major work session before Hell Week. We need volunteers to help again with set building and painting on April 12. We have many things to get accomplished in a very short amount of time. If you are able to help, please respond to this email and let me know and I will assign you to a task (we have many to get done that day!) Set building and construction on stage will begin at 1:00 and go till approximately 5:00. The actors have rehearsal that day from 10-4 to catch up what we have missed and work extra hard on all the sections we have only gotten to once or twice. We need donations for lunch (lunch meat, cheese, chips, dessert). Kim Breton has agreed to make the sandwiches ahead of time to save time and make sure everyone will have something to eat so if you could get that to me at the latest Friday, that would be great. Please also be thinking about concessions donations. We will require everyone in the cast to donate 2 2-liter bottles of soda and one concessions food item (candy bars, chips, or baked goods - single serve style) Tomorrow (Monday April 7) is the last day to put in your order for a Hairspray t-shirt. The shirt color has changed as they had low inventory on the turquoise one we originally picked so I will post the design on Facebook as soon as I get it back from PCI. Spring Break is a great time to do that costume shopping if you havent started already. All costumes are due on the Monday we come back from spring break (Monday April 28) If you have them sooner, bring them in for consideration so they can be racked and marked off the list. Attendance from now on is key. We have had so many snow days and missed days that we are very behind. I have tried to stick to the original schedule I sent out in February so that it has the least possible impact on everyones schedules. Please make every effort to be at every rehearsal. If a student is not present the day I set a scene, it is their responsibility to get with someone who was there to learn what they missed. If they miss choreography and cant catch up, they will be cut from that scene. The week of the 14th and hell week (28th) are mandatory attendance days. Also, keep in mind that the Saturday of Prom May 3, is a rehearsal day. We will have rehearsal from 10-2. Please do not schedule hair, nail appts during that time. I will be very timely in letting the kids out right at 2:00 so that they have plenty of time to get ready! Please message me with any questions and as always we appreciate all the support and donations you give to our department!!!
