Make plans to help honor the Wounded Warriors as they travel through Gonzales on Friday. These heroes will make their way through town on St. Joseph Street and will be escorted by Police and Firefighters to JB Wells Park. Buses will arrive at JB Wells Park at 11:30 a.m. where Ken Hedrick and his team volunteers will serve lunch. The Mayor and City Manager will welcome the group and GISD 4th graders will present a program. Participants in the Wounded Warrior program will continue on their way to a fishing expedition in Port OConnor at 1 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to come out and show your appreciation to these special veterans.
