Making Christmas Better When we are deluged by pain, suffering, and trouble, we tend to go inward into our own space likely filled with darkness. By trying to make Christmas better for someone else, you force yourself to get outside of your space, your space so consumed by your issues trying to destroy what God wants you to experience. Participating in a small worship service can also relieve you of many burdens. In addition, do not discount the power of godly movies, Christian hymns, and other forms of Christian expression of what Christmas means. Yes, we have darkness to battle during the Christmas season like all seasons. However, we have Christ standing with us, doing battle with us, giving us His love, joy, and peace every moment. Let the hope and joy of Christ ring out of your life now and for all the days to come. Let the hope and joy of Christmas ring out to others so their Christmas will be better. Pastor Rubin Wilson
