Making ghee. 14 blocks of butter (3.5kg) made almost 4L of ghee. 20 mins max. The most work was peeling off the butter wrappers! Step 1. Place butter blocks in saucepan Step 2. Melt butter. Turn it down slightly if its foaming a lot or it may overflow. Wait and watch the casein (milk protein) separate from the butter fat, leaving pure liquid gold. Step 3.
