Malachi 3:10, “‘Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.’” There is no other place in the Bible where God tells us to test him. But God is so serious about the tithe, he actually says that we can test him and challenge him in this way. When we pay our tithe, he will bless us. He will pour out a blessing on us that we cant even contain it all. The floodgates of heaven open and God pours into us when we bring our first, our ten percent to him.
